TransferRoom is seeking a Senior Events Marketing Manager to join us in reshaping the football transfer market. This role involves providing cross-functional leadership for the strategy and execution of TransferRoom events, including a worldwide mix of virtual and in-person events throughout the year. These events play a vital role in our value proposition, featuring a unique speed-dating format to expedite professional transfers in the industry.

As a Senior Events Marketing Manager, you will collaborate closely with commercial teams to set objectives and invitation strategies, developing different approaches for awareness, acquisition, and engaging existing customers. You will also have line manager responsibility for an existing Events Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities: 

Lead TransferRoom’s global virtual and in-person events.
Coordinate seamlessly between various stakeholders to ensure collective success (Commercial, Marketing, Brand, Finance, Leadership team).
Develop a multi-year events strategy and establish KPIs in close collaboration with the Commercial Strategy team.
Work with our internal designer to create TransferRoom event branding.
Manage budgets and timelines, ensuring ROI vs budget plan.
Drive our webinar content plan beyond flagship events.
Develop and execute event sponsorship strategy and goals, partnering with commercial teams.
Deliver post-event analysis, employing an iterative, scalable approach to improving future events.
Iterate ongoing improvements to the event format with the support of stakeholder teams (e.g., Product), utilizing post-event survey insights and follow-throughs.

Skills (Must-haves):

Bachelor’s degree in marketing/business administration or related field.
Experience in B2B Marketing, specifically end-to-end event management for both acquisition and existing customer engagement.
Proficient in project management skills.
Experience working with marketing tools, including email and CRM (such as HubSpot or Salesforce).
Experience connecting marketing strategy to ROI metrics.
Data-driven, experience with A/B testing and other growth experimentation techniques.

Skills (Nice-to-have):

Direct HubSpot experience.
