The Role:

We want to fundamentally change how people work in customer service. So we need a team of world-class talent.

As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Ultimate, you’ll be an integral part of this team from day one. You’ll be instrumental in the design and development of our SAAS platform, which allows our users to design conversations and automate workflows.

A clean and responsive user interface with a simple and seamless user experience is your North Star. You’ll work closely alongside our product managers, designers, backend and wider technical team to build new features, focused on user experience.

The Ultimate Responsibilities:

Maintain and develop the Ultimate platform using technologies such as React, Redux, TypeScript, and Node.js.
Build user-friendly frontend applications that help our clients to manage and train the AI model.
Work closely with other members of the development team to ensure new product features are built stable and intuitive.
Learn and experiment with new tools and technologies aiming to develop new product features, improve UX, and reduce code complexity.
Stay up to date on industry trends, helping drive Ultimate to innovate.

The Ultimate Profile:

We’re looking for a communicative, experienced engineer who takes pride in producing slick applications which are easy and fun to use, built upon logical, simple and effective solutions to complex issues.

You have strong programming skills in React.js, TypeScript and Redux.
Full Stack Experience and Knowledge of D3 are a plus.
You are confident in writing robust code and have the skills to build performant web applications.
You care about engineering quality and know how it can be achieved.
You have a Product mindset: you take pride in building beautiful, slick applications that are easy and fun to use.
You are a positive, pro-active team player who is passionate about their craft, is keen to take part in product discussions and cares about helping the team deliver.
You have strong communication skills and high proficiency in English.

Our Interview Process:

We are excited to learn more about you so we want to be transparent about what you can expect from our interview process.

1. Introductory chat with the Talent Acquisition Partner – 20 minutes

2. Interview with the Hiring Manager, Franzi – 45 minutes

3. A choice of either:

a). Take-home technical challenge

b). A live coding challenge

4. A technical interview with two of our developers to talk more in-depth about your technical experience and answer any questions you might have. If you choose the live-coding challenge, we can schedule it together with the technical interview – 1 hour

5. Final interview with 2 of our Engineering Managers – 1 hour
