About this event
Diversity in the tech industry continues to be a challenge for many companies.
Whilst we have seen some positive advancements in the last 3 years, the pace of change is slow. Women of colour remain underrepresented in the industry, with just 4% holding c-suite positions in the UK.
We seek to celebrate the women of colour in tech, to provide a safe space to talk about the challenges faced by many, and also hear stories of inspiration that will encourage others in our industry to flourish.
Together, we can build a community that’s driven to change mindsets and help build a brighter future.
In this interactive round table discussion, we’ll be discussing some of the challenges faced by women of colour in the tech industry and share ideas on how we can help shape a future where everybody irrespective of background can thrive in the workplace.
Moderated by Komal Helyer, Brand Ambassador, Women of Colour in Tech forum, and Angie Vaux, Founder and CEO of Women in Tech forum.
